Rotary Park to Lynde Shores, Ajax
Wonderful and popular playground, concession stand and washrooms. Explore (be gentle!) the mouth of Duffins Creek. From here you can either see the rest of the Ajax's 6 km Waterfront Trail. The first community to achieve a completely off-road route end to end, Ajax's waterfront has the following highights to appreciate:
Veteran's Point Garden--heritage plaques describing Ajax's unique contribution to our military heritage
Carruthers Marsh & Waterfront East Pavilion (washrooms, refreshments, playgrounds)
Lynde Shores Marsh (off of Halls Rd you'll see entrance to two short trails to viewing platforms giving excellent view of this lovely wetland.)

Rotary Park to Pickering Millennium Square
From Rotary Park head west into Pickering along a quiet, treed path that goes around the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
At Sandy Beach Rd, turn north to the entrance of Alex Robertson Park. Here you'll find wonderful set of wooden sculptures created by local artist Dorsey James with highschool student's assistance. The installation is named HomePlace. Take the trail that circles around the park to see all the sculptures.
End the walk at the bustling Millennium Square where you'll find beach playground, washrooms, restaurants and shops. Be sure to check out the small wetland restoration project underway on the north side of the path.
