The Urban Moorings Project
Using man-made materials and indigenous plants of the area,
artists will create floating sculptures and gardens on the wetlands of
Cootes Paradise, which will resound with an admiration for the ingenuity,
creative spirit and adaptability of Hamilton’s historic Shacktown
community.

Moon in June Road Race
The 19th Annual Moon in June race treks along part of the Waterfront Trail.
There is a 5km walk or run, a 10km run and 1km kids fun run in support
of the Halton Trauma Centre.

Port Credit Garden Tour
The tour is concentrated in the Heritage Conservation District of Port
Credit, just west of the Credit River and south of Lakeshore Road. Visitors
can walk the area to view 17 gardens. These were selected to provide an
eclectic mix of small and medium gardens, each with its own unique and
interesting aspects.
