The Urban Moorings Project
Using man-made materials and indigenous plants of the area,
artists will create floating sculptures and gardens on the wetlands of
Cootes Paradise, which will resound with an admiration for the ingenuity,
creative spirit and adaptability of Hamilton’s historic Shacktown
community.

Waterfront Concert
The Peter Smith Group entertains with cool jazz flavoured with some hot
Latin spice. In the event of unseasonal weather the concert will take
place at the Waterfront Bistro. This event is presented in partnership
with the City of Pickering and Ontario Power Generation.
