Ride from downtown Oakville to Joshua
Creek along the Waterfront Trail. Located on the North side
of Lakeshore Rd., across from Arkendo Dr. The trail provides
a wooded sanctuary, with a creek running through it and dirt
paths. (14-15 km return)

Trail to Joshua Creek on the North side at Arkendo and Lakeshore.

Offering beautiful gardens, benches
to comfortably sit and admire Lake Ontario, and a gallery to
spend an inspiring afternoon, Gairloch Gardens offers a little
something for almost everyone. Mad, mad, mad, mad world is on
display until June 3, 2007. Artist Monika Napier has transformed
extension cords, inviting you to speculate, discuss, and debate
their purpose and meaning.

HISTORY

The Oakville Historical Society
offers a variety of walking tours from June to October, including
Ghost Walks. The Main Street and Heritage tours start from 110
King Street while the Trafalger Road walking tour begins at
262 Randall Street. Each tour lasts 2 hours and information
on times may be found on their web-site listed below.
